Jack Keane (1894 - 24 April 1978) was an Irish hurler who played as a right wing-back for the Limerick senior team. Keane made his first appearance for the team in a tournament game in late 1912 and was a regular member of the starting fifteen until his retirement after the 1927 championship. During that time he won two All-Ireland medals and three Munster medals. Together with Willie Hough and Dinny Lanigan he formed the "Hindenberg Line", a famous trio of half-backs in the early decades of the twentieth century. At club level Keane enjoyed a lengthy career with Castleconnell, Young Irelands and Ahane. ==References==
